Hello hello hello!! The day is almost here! I leave for DC in 8 short hours.

HOLY CRAP EIGHT HOURS!!!

I'll be updating this blog as I go about my adventures in DC and Qatar (hence the clever name, thank you Mike Flynn!). I'll be away from my beautiful Texas for almost eight months, with a little pause of about a week or two in the middle.

This post is short because I still haven't packed (I know, I know, shocking), so I'm gonna go do that!! Watch for my first post from DC tomorrow!
